What Guests Are Saying
Tuttle Creek Cove offers a beautiful campground with stunning lake views, clean facilities, and friendly staff, making for an enjoyable stay. Many campers appreciated the spacious, well-maintained sites, and the peaceful atmosphere, ideal for relaxation and outdoor activities. However, some sites have access and leveling issues, and cell reception can be poor, but overall, visitors found it a great location close to Manhattan with plenty of natural beauty.

Beautiful. Quiet. Immaculate. Great host. I spent a night here as I was passing through the area. Highly recommended. You can hike at Konza Prairie while you are in town, and it looked like there was some fun nightlife and good restaurants.

Really enjoyed our weekend here. Sunsets and sunrise were absolutely beautiful. We were in lot 23. Which had a beautiful view of the water and a good little spot of trees for our hammock and the kids to play. My only complaint is the site was very unlevel making it difficult to level vehicle; heard other campers saying the same. So just be prepared for this.
Thanks

Tuttle Creek Cove is always a great place to stay. The park is always well maintained the vault toilets are clean and well stocked, and the shower rooms are nice and tidy.

Campground is located just outside of Manhattan which is convenient for any needs.
Do not confuse this campground with Tuttle Creek “STATE” Park, which is just down the road. This one is bookable on recreation.gov
We stayed here 2 separate weeks, 4 nights each. 1st week was site 9 on the Lake Shore Loop and our 2nd week was site 30 on the Tuttle Point Loop. Both offered 50amp & water. Dump station is located at the entrance to the campground. Both sites offered good views of the lake but site 30 offered a view from the front window of the coach.
The sites are rock & are very well maintained. But typical of COE parks in KS, leveling can be an issue. We had to use blocks under the wheels in addition to the jacks on site 9.
The swimming beach at this campground has long been closed. Not sure why but possibly due to the floods of a few years ago. We had no contact with the hosts as the entrance station was not open.
Both of our stays were during the week and after Labor Day so the park was quiet with only a handful of campers.

Main womens bathroom is always full of bugs and spiders. There is a big gap under the door. The handicap stall does not lock, hasn't for a long time. I appreciate always having plenty of toilet paper in each stall.
The grass was tall this time, it usually isn't that bad. I really like camping at Cove because it is peaceful but it is becoming more unkept.
