We try to camp at Melvern Outlet at least twice a year. It's always peaceful, clean, and well maintained. Many sites have lotsa shade. We wanted to extend our stay a night and the camp host were very helpful. In fact they indicated they had a cancellation and a water side site was available for the following 3 nights ... we snagged it up. There are several hiking trails in the area as well as a swim beach which sadly was temporarily closed during our visit. We'll be back this fall and following years to come. Be aware you have to reserve early!

Stayed here lots of times but first time in the A loop.. we had a fantastic spot with a view of the lake and shade. Lots of elbow room and great weather once the storm quit shortly after we arrived. Our ‘go to’ campground year after year!

Only thing that I have too say is that it is way too long to be able to talk to a live person.
