This is one of my favorite places. The campgrounds and surrounding areas are very well kept. So many places to explore!

We had great weather for the week so I got to do some kayaking and walking. We had some great neighbors too. Something that would have been helpful in reserving, especially if going with groups in Loop B where the 'zig zag' layout is, is that the campsites face each other where the "V" opens up to the outlet pond water. If the "V" opens up towards the dam, then the backs of the campers face each other. Sounds confusing until you look at the map. But from the map alone, it's hard to tell which sites face each other.

Melvern, Outlet Park, is our favorite place to camp: it is clean, hiking, biking, fishing, swimming and volleyball to keep everyone busy. Thanks to park personnel for keeping it is tiptop shape.

PLEASE ENFORCE THE RULES!!! Dogs need to be on leashes!!! Melvern Outlet posts signs all over but unfortunately doesn't enforce the rule! I was attacked by a dog and was bit on my arm. All I did was walk out of the restroom. Going to urgent care and still dealing with wound care over a week later is not how anyone wants to spend their vacation. Sad thing is it took me getting bit and needing to seek medical treatment before the camper was asked to leave the campground even though the camper had been warned multiple times. I LOVE Melvern Outlet, it's my favorite campground, so I certainly hope the rules will be enforced more and people will be asked to leave if they cannot put their dogs on leashes!

Excellent facilities. Mowing looks good. Parking setup on some sites is not ideal, utilities end up on opposite site of camping unit. Staff is not overly friendly. Never saw ranger staff patrol during my stay. But no issues and had a good time

TO ME THIS IS THE BEST PARK IN OUR AREA BUT THE UP KEEP OF THE PARK COULD USE SOME IMPROVEMENT, TREE TRIMMING, PAINT ON SOME OF THE BUILDINGS, AND BETTER ENFORCEMENT OF THE PARK RULES ( DOG ON LEASHES)
