What Guests Are Saying
Lucas Park is a beautiful campground with well-maintained facilities, including clean bathrooms and showers. Visitors appreciate the stunning lake views, spacious campsites, and friendly camp hosts, making it a peaceful and enjoyable experience. While water is not available until mid-May and some sites may be smaller than others, many guests express a desire to return for more visits.

Seems to always be extremely windy here every time we have stayed here, and poor/spotty cell service can be a problem if you need cell service.

Absolutely love this loop at Lucas Park. Site 32 is a long and narrow site. We have a 30 ft keystone. The site was long enough, but the slope from front to back meant that even with the front 2 tires on the gravel and being back as far as we could go, the tongue jack was almost maxed out to be level. Site 32 has a lot of grassy space. However, being at the curve of the loop and across from the bath and shower house, if people cutting through your site or close to the edge of your site bothers you then I would recommend a different site.

My stay was great, but I was upset that the campsite below me #29 had extra people staying with them in a tent. They took the table from my site and refused to return it. Very frustrating as we literally had no where to make meals and eat. We had a family member have a medical emergency and the Park Rangers were wonderful!
