This was my first time here. The campground was absolutely beautiful! This was easily one of the most well kept campgrounds I have ever stayed at.
In addition, I really appreciated how many restrooms, water pumps, and trash dumpsters there were, considering how large the campground is. There were plenty of them available, well spread out, in easy access locations, and everything was incredibly cleaned and well stocked!
One of the campground hosts even brought me a hammer and a few large stakes to borrow as I could not find mine, which was so kind of him!
I will absolutely be back! Thank you!

Our site was clean. We were right next to the shower house, which was nice since we did not have water hook-up and our campers holding tank does not work. Shower house was clean.
I did not go in, but I heard that he bathroom at the middle Minooka boat ramp was full and gross!

Beautiful view of the lake and surrounding countryside. Plenty of room for each campsite, well-kept facilities and clear lake water! We will be back.

Minooka Park is just a beautiful location where the Corp of Army Engineers really went out of their way to make a restful and relaxing setting. During the weekend it was a bit noisy with so much recreational boating. During the week I was there it slows down a lot and is just the perfect place to relax, walk the dog and enjoy amazing sunsets!
Overall a great location and would love to come back!

Campsite rather uneven with large rock/gravel on surface. Would be very easy to turn an ankle on it
