What Guests Are Saying
Smith Ridge Campground offers a clean and peaceful environment, with friendly volunteer staff and well-maintained facilities. Campers appreciate the spacious sites and the beautiful natural setting, ideal for family gatherings and relaxation. However, some guests noted issues with cellular service, bathroom supplies, and the campground's limited open season, particularly wishing it would remain open into October.

The sites are nice but some of them are hard to get in to cause of the way the road drops off the edge

So many good things to say and unfortunately some not so good. It’s a small campground and was very quiet which was awesome. If you want to stay in the trees stay in the A loop. Lots of trees which is perfect for keeping it cool. The trees were not trimmed back so be careful if your trailer is high. The sites were small but neat and clean. However lots of poison Ivy between sites. Bathrooms were kept clean and cleaned regularly. A huge negative was the pump station was on the wrong side causing us to loop extra and having to carefully maneuver tight turns and lots of trees. The gate attendants and campground hosts were so nice and helpful. We will be back.

My site was A7. Not a grassy area but fully wooded and it was nice. 3 little deer came around to visit quite often. I would definitely pick this site again.

There is no cell service (except near the check in gate) which was very peaceful to not be bothered. The attendants were very helpful and polite. It’s a very nice lake. We caught several 4-5 pound catfish.

Couldn't have been better! Please have maintenance fix fire pit at 34B. We have it reserved for labor day and it is not usable to cook on as grate is bent and lodged in up position!! Ty
