Very Clean and Quiet at night.
Campsites are spaced out and not on top of each other.

Nice camping trip. Hosts are really nice, adjoining campers friendly. Fishing was good for white bass, yellow bass (my favorite eating fish), catfish, and largemouth bass. Hard to get reservations due to its popularity.

Always very quiet & peaceful. Campground attendants are always very accommodating and friendly. Boat ramp is very spacious and easy to maneuver around. I grew up at Canal & now my kiddos are getting to grow up there as well! My only 2 requests are that they need to add washer/dryers back to the bathhouses & add more full hookup sites-ideally near the playground/beach area!

My only complaint is that I booked a water site and you can’t get to the water because of the weeds that aren’t mowed or weed whipped. We walked through it to get down to the water at our site #26 and got chiggers so bad
