Lots of shade, was a really nice site. Really close to bathroom, fish cleaning station and as of now a closed boat ramp. We could still walk down to fish.

Beautiful location! Great experiences have been had here for over 10 years. It would be "OUTSTANDING" if there was full hook ups.
Lots of people enjoying Lake Cumberland every time we go. We will be back this month (June) and again in July and August. The 14 days in 30 keeps us from being there more often.

The children in the campground where out of control with no supervision they would ride walk or run out in front of you driving in one kid kept trying to drive a battery powered car thing between my vehicles on my camp site we had to redirect him several times did not appreciate this I would have been upset had he hit my vehicles I think something needs to be done about children running wild it’s very dangerous not to mention they where loud till late

This reservation was made in November 2022. You would think someone would have notified us of the boat ramp being out. We as in my whole family come here several times a year to fish either just driving down for the day or camping. Mainly because the Ramp is at camp site. Thanks for the heads up.

We were visiting friends in the area and really enjoyed this park. The wildlife was beautiful, great walking trails, great fishing. The sites in the Annex were larger and more spread out. The sites in the older part of the park were a little tighter but probably had more shade. Which ever section you choose you can't go wrong. We were told that the tour of the hatchery was really neat but unfortunately did not have time to make it.

Great place to sit and relax. I personally like the Annex side of Kendall. Not as crowded and not as many trees to maneuver large Rv's around to get parked. The staff is always retirees like myself and are very respectful. The use of the washer and dryer is a great touch, and I really really like the new idea of the passcode to get into the grounds.

We haven't been camping very long but this is by far my favorite campground. It's woodsy, private camp spots, beautiful hiking trail, fishing..
