Everything was pretty great and nice sites through whole park. Not sure why they haven't made better camping sites along the waterfront but the ticks were INSANE!!! Be VERY vigilant and check everyone several times over the course of the day.
Nice sites and clean bathrooms and we loved the little produce shack. Camp store up the way has a nice selection of rental boats to enjoy the lake and the marina had pontoons for rent but get there first thing in the morning!!

Campground was great. The only issue I had was with the new large rock placed around the outer edge of some of the campsites. I was in D108. The rock is very large and difficult to walk on. You can't even set a chair or table on it. The even larger rock placed on the banks around the site are even more treacherous. Almost fell several times setting up. The gentleman on the next-door site did fall and cut his arm pretty bad. This needs some attention. Otherwise, camping was great.

This is a beautiful campground and designed with maximizing RV spaces in mind. We were on D loop (D29) and everyone on this loop had a up front lake view on both sides! We have a 30Ft FW and the site was plenty long enough. The shower house was very close and was very clean and well-maintained. They say check-in time is 5:00 pm but we saw many checking in before then. We waited until 5 to arrive but it may be worth calling and asking if an earlier check in is allowed. The only complaint we had was that there was quite a bit of trash on the lake shore between the 2 D loops and even in our site. Maybe it was early enough in the season that they hadn't been around to try to clean the lakeshore yet but the campsite should have been better policed-especially with a 5 pm check-in! Mammoth Cave visitor center was a 35-40 min drive but beautiful scenery all along the way. We will definitely be back!

I tent camp with children so site b1 was perfect for us. We were close to the bathroom and playground. The site was also well shaded and still had a good view of the water.
