My husband and I have been going to Moutardier for 20 years. We really like the spot for camping. However it has gotten harder and harder to find spots to reserve. Would like to see the campground open up in April like it used to do. I also see more families coming with loose dogs running around without leashes. More response needs to be done concerning this issue.

Best site I have ever had. Loved the view and almost a private beach all to yourself, very peaceful except the boat ramp has a bit of noise but not bad.

The site was a little washed out because of heavy rains I supposed but still had a good camping trip.

Outstanding view! It was a nice quiet area. Staff was friendly. The only negative experience was the people that were next to us for one day let their two dogs roam free instead of following the leash rules, but I can’t hold that against the campground or the staff. We have already booked our site to return later this year.

We had a great experience at “Moody Deer”. Beautiful views from our campsite (#60) and relatively quite. Parking was tricky as there were pull through lots directly in front of the back ins with not a lot of room to maneuver. It also seemed that the spots that were parallel with the road had hookups on the wrong side. Multiple sites had 3+ cars. No real beach area for the kids to swim but they were able to climb down the rocks to the water.
