Many dead trees overhanging campsites. Grass has not been mowed in at least a month. Bath house had 1 of the 3 showers out of order. Overall needs maintenance.

Beautiful scenery! Lake was wonderful for putting our kayaks on for a trip out on the water! It’s a place we must camp at every season!

Found the Blue Holler restaurant. Closed on Monday and Tuesday. Good food with a German flair. The campground was great not very many people on weekdays. Still don't like the reservation system. Stayed two weeks this summer and on weekends that were sold out but some sites sat vacant all week. that is not fair.

AMAZING View!! We have always loved nolin lake and this spot in campground didn’t let us down! Spot is short so probably not good for a longer camper. We are about 21’ with a 4 door Jeep and was about all the spot wanted but it was great for us!!
As always the grounds were in great shape and everyone super friendly.

This was our second trip to Montardier which is a very nice campground. The sites are close together which is a negative but because of the rise of the land from the lake almost every site can see the water. We will visit again.

We just happened upon this campground, and we are so glad we did! It was the last night they were open for the year, and most of the campers had decorated for Halloween. Great big Halloween party at night with trick-or-treatment for the kids. The camp host was very welcoming! A favorite memory of our trip!
