Pros:
*Very nice campground.
*Beautiful views of Nolin Lake.
*Nice size camp sites
*Very large campground. We walked over a half mile from section B and never made it to section A.
* Has some very secluded camp sites for privacy if you want it.
* A little camp store to the right when you enter. Sells firewood, fruits, vegetables, jams, salsa, BBQ sauces. All on the honor system. You put your money in the drop box. (Well, the honor system has multiple cameras recording your every move in case you don't want to pay).
Cons
*The campground employees were only available between 3pm and 6pm. (We were always gone during this time.)
*In section B, the lake side camp sites have no shade. You melt all day long. If you camp in this section choose the second road from lake. They are all shaded and elevated for a great view of the lake.

The bathrooms in our section was very nasty. Someone had when in the me s bathroom and pooped in the 3rd shower stall and it was not cleaned the whole time we was there. One shower did not even work. The women’s was very nasty. Look like it had not been cleaned at all

Campsite was on such a steep grade as to be unusable. There is no way to get a trailer close enough to level to be functionable. The area adjacent to the parking pad was so small it barely fit the picnic table seen in the picture. The pictures on the website are very misleading as was the length of the site. Their was not enough room for an average trailer parked in either direction on the V shaped site. The access roads are extremely narrow with no shoulder or guard rails and the signage was poor and barely visible at night. Once we were able to find the correct site we could not safely access it with our 34ft trailer in tow. We had to spend the night in a truck stop and find a private campsite the next day. Also, if you follow the directions to the campground listed on the website you will find that there is no road sign that shows Western Kentucky Parkway from I-65 so expect to get lost as we did.

We have enjoyed this campground for over 40 years. Beside the activities on the lake, Mamouth Cave & Kentucky Down Under are not far away.

Beautiful campground. Make sure you check electric and water hookup as a lot of sites don’t have them.
