The pads are very small. Every site is basically right beside each other. What was the Core thinking. Bathrooms were clean. Flushers were ify. Great view from some locations

Awesome campground with plenty of beach access. We actually got to stay in n 3 different sites - A60, D8 and D9 (D10). The D section seemed more spread out. Hosts were EXCELLENT and super nice. Don’t forget to visit the marina. They even have pontoon boat rentals.

We enjoyed the views of the lake from our campsites! If you are reserving A47 or A29 I would highly recommend getting both sites as they are very close to each other.

Nice campground on Lake Nolan. Unfortunately if you didn't bring a boat and want to swim in the lake the campground doesn't have a location that is considered a beach. Lake access can be had from anywhere along the mostly rocky shoreline, which isn't really safe for the young or elderly.

We stayed 2 nights at this campground. When we arrived the site was excessively littered with cigarette butts and beer bottle caps. There was a bunch of partially burned cardboard and more cigarette butts and trash in the fire pit. It was very obvious the sites are not being cleaned. The tent pads are gravel/rocks so if you are tent camping bring an extra tarp for the bottom of your tent. There are ticks all throughout the gravel so use spray and watch your kids carefully. My two year old granddaughter got one stuck on her shoulder. (She likes to pick up rocks). The staff is friendly and the firewood at the location is convenient. They provide a metal hanger for your lantern and a small food prep table. Our small table had a wasps nest and tons of wasps so it wasn’t usable for us. But it’s a good idea and I’m sure not all the tables have wasps nests in them. If the campground was taken care of it would be a really nice place. I don’t think it’s really a family campground but more of a party campground. We won’t be going back. Only stayed because we wanted to see mammoth cave and their campground was fully booked.

The campground provides beautiful views and access to Nolin Lake. It would be wonderful if there was a beach area.
