This was our second stay at this campground and the first camping trip ever with our small children. The campsite was clean and the facilities were accessible and well maintained. We had a wonderful time until one of our children became ill (in our tent), causing us to pack up and head home in the night. Otherwise, we look forward to returning!!

Very nice campground. Lights leading to restrooms are a little bothersome. Shower room clean, but bring your quarters!

Family friendly, well managed campground. Very close to the ferry and many hiking trails after that!

We had an amazing time. The host stopped by a few times to make sure we didn't need any help. Our Scout Troop 367 had a blast. We WILL be back.

Dogs and I only stayed one night in the National park campground
Didn't want that hotel bill. Lol
It was fabulous for the national Park system.
Clean, everything worked, grounds were nice.
They are doing some renovations on the parking lot, which is long overdue.
As a Kentuckian we are proud of our land and Heritage.
We have a fabulous state full of parks.
We host 6 nationals and over 40 state parks and historic sites.
Get out and enjoy some.

Great campground for tent camping. Campsites clean and flat, and nicely spaced. The camp store is close by and the visitor center is an easy walk. Cave tours were informative and nicely paced. A weak point would have to be food at the lodge. Menu choices were limited, and were mediocre.
During our stay a severe weather alert was issued due to tornadoes in the area. Park employees and campground hosts provided no information about safe places to wait out the warnings. We were on our own during horrible winds and thunderstorms.

Perfect campsite for our Mammoth Cave experience! Clean and warm bathrooms, easy in and out at our campsite and lots of interesting trails to check out.
