Mammoth Cave Campground is well-managed, clean, and offers ample amenities, including running water in restrooms and access to nearby hiking trails and a restaurant. Campers appreciate the spacious sites, friendly staff, and the outstanding cave tours available, making for an enjoyable experience. However, some amenities, like coin-operated showers and certain campgrounds, could use updates, and reservations for guided tours are highly recommended due to their popularity.

The sites were decent in size though not necessarily level. We have a 26 foot travel trailer- minimal difficulty getting into the site.
Bathrooms only have flush toilets and sinks. Cleanliness could have been better. They are well spaced through the Mammoth Cave campground. There are no hookups.
The showers are available at the campground store and you pay for them. They look tired and grungy. They also have laundry available for $1.75 per load.

One of our favorite national parks, and at our favorite time of the year, during wildflower season! We were inspired by many families enjoying time together and love that there are campground hosts to help oversee the campground.

Fortunate to get a site with full hookups. Site very level and roomy. Lots of kids biking and playing during the day but campground very quiet after dark.

The campground was really nice. There was a lot of debris on the ground from the previous fall, but otherwise the our campsite was well-maintained. The on-site camp store was a great convenience, and the bathrooms/showers were nice and regularly cleaned.

Mammoth Cave Campground is in easy walking distance to the Visitor Center, which made everything super convenient—no need to worry about parking or driving over. A great, hassle-free spot if you plan to explore the cave and hike the trails.
