Mammoth Cave Campground is well-managed, clean, and offers ample amenities, including running water in restrooms and access to nearby hiking trails and a restaurant. Campers appreciate the spacious sites, friendly staff, and the outstanding cave tours available, making for an enjoyable experience. Family friendly, well managed campground. Very close to the ferry and many hiking trails after that!

Very nice campground. Lights leading to restrooms are a little bothersome. Shower room clean, but bring your quarters!

We had an amazing time. The host stopped by a few times to make sure we didn't need any help. Our Scout Troop 367 had a blast. We WILL be back.

Dogs and I only stayed one night in the National park campground
Didn't want that hotel bill. Lol
It was fabulous for the national Park system.
Clean, everything worked, grounds were nice.
They are doing some renovations on the parking lot, which is long overdue.
As a Kentuckian we are proud of our land and Heritage.
We have a fabulous state full of parks.
We host 6 nationals and over 40 state parks and historic sites.
Get out and enjoy some.

Great campground for tent camping. Campsites clean and flat, and nicely spaced. The camp store is close by and the visitor center is an easy walk. Cave tours were informative and nicely paced. A weak point would have to be food at the lodge. Menu choices were limited, and were mediocre.
During our stay a severe weather alert was issued due to tornadoes in the area. Park employees and campground hosts provided no information about safe places to wait out the warnings. We were on our own during horrible winds and thunderstorms.

Perfect campsite for our Mammoth Cave experience! Clean and warm bathrooms, easy in and out at our campsite and lots of interesting trails to check out.

Mammoth cave campground was so clean, and the spots are roomy. We stayed early before all loops were open, but there were convenient, clean, restrooms open on the two loops that were booked. Nice camp store, and we walked to the Visitor Center. Wonderful stay.

The group campsites were closed and they allowed two Scout troops to take three sites of the smaller campsites. We were next to one of the sites, which had 18 people and seven tents. They were loud, walking across our campsite to the bathroom day and night, parking in our spot and barely fit on their site. The campground was full, so I couldn't change sites. Our stay prior to the Scout troop was peaceful and good. As more and more people unloaded and put up tents, it felt like I paid to be in a tent city. Very unpleasant. If there's no group in the normal sites, it's a wonderful campground. It's clean, has good amenities and kind campground hosts. Having trails starting from the campground was great also. Hopefully, the park doesn't accommodate a group like that again though.
