The campsites were clear and clean, the quarter-showers were crazy nice, and the water spigots were convenient. My only complaint is that people are allowed to have their generators going, which are very loud. I felt like I was in a construction zone until about 9pm when they turned their generators off.

Very well maintained camp sites, loved the fire pits. Bathrooms were okay, could have been cleaner and one did not have any water. Disappointed that the store wasn't open to buy firewood but the lodge and welcome center were super close. Not a fan of the generator use as it drowns out the sound of nature. Overall a great time and we plan to bring our kids back in the spring.

My site was occupied by someone else when I arrived a little before 7P. There was no clear signage on who to contact (non emergency) and when I called Recreation.gov they said to just take some other unoccupied site. What’s the point of reservations?

The campground was beautiful, restrooms were clean and well stocked, and the nearby campground store and lodge had everything you might need in a pinch. Would definitely recommend!

Gorgeous campground very close to hiking trails around the park. The rangers were friendly and helpful and staff in the lodge were kind. Bathrooms were well maintained. Only reason I cant give 5 stars is because the caves were closed during the entirety of our stay and there was a surprising amount of light pollution for a bat sanctuary. Paths were lighted every night and the lights outside the bathrooms were very bright. We ended up moving sights after our first night to a darker park of the campground. Otherwise we had a wonderful time and look forward to returning.

The bathrooms need to be updated to include showers. It's ridiculous to have to pay to take a shower in a National Park.

The cave tours were fun. We went on the historic tour with a 5 year old, a 7 year old and 2 in theory 70s along with my wife and I in our late 30s. Everyone managed the 2 miles well and had a great time. We also hiked some of the trails which is something you want to remember, the surface of the park is gorgeous too

We appreciated that the campground stayed open even during the shut down. Mammoth Cave campground is a beautiful place to camp.

A huge thank you to the Park Rangers taking care of our national monuments during the shutdown. The facilities were pristine, and even though the cave was under limited operations, the trails were well maintained, and everyone I came into contact with was smiling and helpful, and I'm so happy I spent two days there!

Our campsite was nice and level. Bathrooms were close, but trail lights weren't working. The campground is very dark, and those lights would have made navigation to restrooms alot easier. Showers took a bit to figure out, as far as getting the temperature right.
