Campground was great. Rangers went through regularly to keep an eye on things and were friendly. The air conditioning in the restrooms was a pleasant surprise and relief from the heat outside. Overall a great experience. The camp store was nice as well with needed items stocked and it’s not far to the visitor center for the cave. Will definitely be back.

Campsite is well-kept and primitive campsites can hold large tents.

Campsites are fairly open with little ground foliage, so not much privacy between sites. Some fire rings are nearly by the road. This wasn't a problem at my site, but if you're like me and want the fire ring at the end of the driveway and further into the site, take a look at pics before you book. There is no firewood available for sale within the park. The camp store carries compressed wood shavings. We tried these but they burned hot and fast and didn't create coals for cooking. As someone who makes every effort to not move wood, this was a major ding. I'd recommend buying from a home or business just outside the park.
That aside, the campgrounds were quiet, bathrooms appeared to be cleaned daily, soap dispenser was included in the bathrooms. Very close to the visitor center where all tours depart.

Great campsites and very convenient to the Visitor Center. As we are tent campers, we were happy to see a mix of various camping arrangements, rather than predominantly RVs at the site. One suggestion is to check the coin-operated showers, as several of them were not working during our stay.

The location was incredibly convenient, and these were the nicest campground restrooms we've ever seen.

The price is good for what's offered - there are plenty of bathhouses and they are all very clean. The campsites are very big and there is plenty of privacy. The coin showers are fine and a fair price, extra star for the available laundry machines and post office!
