Mammoth Cave Campground is well-managed, clean, and offers ample amenities, including running water in restrooms and access to nearby hiking trails and a restaurant. Campers appreciate the spacious sites, friendly staff, and the outstanding cave tours available, making for an enjoyable experience. Fantastic, quiet campground very close to the Visitor Center and cave tours. We are in a 35-ft motorcoach and initially had site 92 in D loop which was too sloped, and we needed to change. Site 109 worked fine. Loop C had more level spots in general than loop D.

A really well maintained campground. Much cheaper than surrounding commercial campgrounds. The sites are very spacious and there are hiking trails everywhere. There are big fields with deer running around a short walk away. The tent sites offer a huge flat well drained pad, but the ground is very hard so freestanding tents are fine but putting in pegs is iffy. The showers are good and are pay so bring $5 in quarters. The general store is well stocked but closes at 5pm, and the nearest stores open late are out near the interstate.

Doing the Violet city tour was one of the best parts of our trip. The campground was easy to navigate and made for the perfect night!

Our campsite (a-10) was very nice. The campsites were not too close, so I felt like we had a comfortable distance between us and our neighbors. The path the the toilet house was well lit, and the toilet house was well maintained. Water was available at a convenient spot.

Great campground to be near the park itself and the hiking trails.
