Mammoth Cave Campground is well-managed, clean, and offers ample amenities, including running water in restrooms and access to nearby hiking trails and a restaurant. Campers appreciate the spacious sites, friendly staff, and the outstanding cave tours available, making for an enjoyable experience. Campsite was great, cave tour excellent. Coin showers a pain to use but otherwise OK

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mammoth Caves NP! All park rangers and workers were knowledgeable and professional. The campground, however, is due for a major upgrade although we were lucky enough to stay in one of only two full service campsites. The tours were great and reasonably priced although we found it ironic that the “Accessible” tour was actually unaccessible to anyone that did not have their own vehicle. We did not as we arrived in a large motorhome.

The spot we were in was quite uneven and on an odd small loop. So many campfires that you breathed smoke through the night.

Enjoyed the trails close to the campground.
Wish the Heritage Trail signs and map were more clear.
The campground was quiet and clean.

A lot of campsites are crowded with others, and finding a level one is a challenge. Loop B is best, but closes early.

The campground was great. I was in a regular site (92) the first night and a VIP (full hookups #93) the next night. The rangers were great in helping me make the change. Very friendly and helpful!

This was our first stop on a 3000 mile road trip with two kids under 4 years old! Our site was amazing! Spacious, private feeling, yet still close to the bathrooms! The giant felled tree separating our only next door neighbor was our kids favorite part and I loved watching them be able to explore!
