Amazing spot. Amazing campground. Sites are a good size, but you'll still be close to neighbors. Close to the visitor center and caves. The store is convenient for any last minute needs, ice, etc. The general store did run out of firewood, which was frustrating, but otherwise it was a great visit.

The campground was nice and our site was spacious and clean. My goodness do they ever need to do something about RVers running generators all night and in the early morning though.

Campsites were large so you weren't on top of your neighbor. Our site had plenty of trees so provided ample shade on the hot summer days. This also led to plenty of downed branches for starting a fire. Bathrooms were clean and air conditioned. Campsite did offer paid showers and laundry. Showers weren't as clean as we desired but got the job done. Close proximity to hiking trails and park visitor center.

Nice open campsites. Helpful friendly staff. We were able to find plenty of downed wood in the area for campfires.

The campground has large sites so you aren't on top of your neighbor. The bathrooms were clean. The park has a pay shower system that costs $1.50 for 4.5 minutes and you can add additional time. The park store at the time of my stay was only able to sell compressed sawdust for firewood. This was disappointing, but I understand the reasons behind it. They were trying to prevent insects/disease from devastating the trees. The wood did light easy and burned better than expected.

Campground was great and was nice to be in close proximity to the caves and hiking trails. However, the showers were less than desirable. $1.50 for 4.5 minutes ended up being close to 2 minutes and there was no privacy.

Clean restrooms. Pretty quiet campsite. Had a deer run right through my camp while I was making coffee, perfect

We are new to camping and really enjoyed the campground at Mammoth Cave. It was quiet and clean. The only thing that we didn't like was that there were no showers. It's possible that they were in a different part of the campground, but the restroom near our site did not have showers.

The cleanest and nicest campground I've been to at a National Park, would highly recommend!

Our site was spacious, and our location kept us somewhat isolated from other campers in the loop, affording us more quiet than we expected over a holiday weekend.
