As always, Twin Knobs never fails to be a great camping experience. We were on J Loop, which is the last loop down in the area. It is mostly flat and most of the sites are very accessible and not on a grade. I never went to the bath house, but others said it was clean. The hosts were friendly and checked with me to see if I needed anything while I was setting up. The grass was mowed and no garbage laying around. I was on J1 and my son on J23. Both are partially in the sun, but it wasn't hot while we were there. Most of the other sites are all very shaded. The water spigot was too far from either site to fill up, so we had filled up before we came down. Electric post was close and the sites are blacktop where you park and gravel on the rest.

Great stay at Twin Knobs. Clean site, I was moved from original site due to high water. Staff was pleasant and helpful, one gentleman stopped by with electric chainsaw and cut up a large limb for me to use. I wish this campground was open for deer season. I’ll be back!

Bathrooms are very well kept. Camphor are excellent. Too bad the flood had some negative setbacks to the grounds.

Unable to fish due to lake water being very high. Most likely from all the rain, otherwise we had a wonderful experience. Area nice and clean

This campground was on a beautiful lake, and about 70 % of sites had a view of the lake. We were assigned a site that did not, which being only 1 night was okay. The biggest problem I had was the shower facility. It was 34 degrees outside, and the bathroom was heated to the mid 50s. The shower needed to be turned on every 15 - 20 seconds, and took about 10 pushes to get warm water coming out. There was no heat selector for the water either. When it was warm I lathered up, only to find that I had reached my maximum allowed water usage. I had to wait about a minute or two for the timer to allow water again. It was maybe my worst shower experience ever. There was also no sign explaining the shower timing situation.
