About Twin Knobs Campground

Nestled on the shores of Cave Run Lake, this camp is part of the larger Twin Knobs Recreation Area. There are more than 200 sites spread out over 10 loops under a dense forest of mixed conifer and deciduous trees. The recreation area includes two reservable group picnic areas. Group camping is also available.

We love this campground! The ranger is super nice, and the facilities are well maintained. This site offers good privacy and is conveniently located near the bathroom with a shower.

Always a pleasure to be at Twin Knobs. It’s where we go to push the reset button and get everything back to normal again. We love riding our bikes there also. People are always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend
