Twin knobs campground and Cave run lake are beautiful. I hate to leave a bad review. Our campsite was full of leaves and not blown off upon arrival. The hosts in J loop had two dogs. When they left their site the dogs barked. On Sunday they left them unattended outside for at least two hours and they barked non stop. My husband finally found the campground manager and he came and sat with the dogs until the hosts returned. If it wasn’t for those two things we would have given an excellent review.

Since Thousand Trails is not over the campground the experience is 1000% better, everything from the new blacktop, cleaner bathhouse, movies and much more. I can't wait until my next camping trip to Twin Knobs.

The Twin Knobs campground was beautiful and very clean. We only stayed 2 nights in October with our 2 dogs, but we are already looking forward to coming back, hopefully, in the spring.

Twin knobs is a place I have visited for many years.
Mostly for musky fishing with a huge group of guys.
This time it was with the kid and grandkid.
Most every time is a perfect experience, with a few exceptions of camp hosts, and neighbors that are a bit on edge.
Over all, excellent experiences
