Zilpo Campground offers beautiful, secluded sites with excellent access to the lake, making it a great destination for families and outdoor enthusiasts. The campground is well-maintained, with clean restrooms and friendly staff, although some services like water access and store items may be limited. While noise from other campers can be an issue, many visitors appreciate the serene environment and recommend Zilpo for its scenic beauty and enjoyable activities.

Nice, quiet location with friendly staff. I have been going here for 10 years and it always kept clean. Great location near boat dock, beach, and another area to swim where you can pull up your boat (they don't call it a beach, but it is basically one). My favorite place to relax during the summer months.

We love Zilpo but they don’t have enough people to take care of the place. The storage lot isn’t being mowed and the sites don’t look like they use to. They have 1 person cleaning the bathrooms. Zilpo needs some overdue TLC. Hosts are as nice as they can be and help all they can but they can’t do it all. Please help Zilpo find its beauty again.

We had a great time! The cabin was clean and the air conditioner worked well. The park was very pretty!

Campsite was great and it was our 2nd time going to the spot. The one thing that happened to us both times on both nights was another camper blasting music until the early morning (after midnight). I wish a camp host was able to do final night checks (assure people put coolers/food away, respecting rules, etc.)
All in all, great campsite and campground, but there are disrespectful people that want to make sure you hear there terrible music throughout the night.

Beautiful area, spacious, private sites. Helpful staff. beach/store closed due to COVID but no fault of the facility. Wish trail maps would have been available

Loved this campground, only recommendation to other campers is to make sure you have enough gas to get back to salt lick . My son was almost out and thankfully the camp host from section B brought him some gas she had been keeping for exactly this situation. Great friendly staff. We’ll be back
