What Guests Are Saying
Zilpo Campground is praised for its beautiful location, cleanliness, and friendly camp hosts, making it a favorite for many long-time visitors. While some amenities, such as hot water availability and maintenance support, have declined, most campers still enjoy the private, serene sites and the access to outdoor activities like hiking and fishing. However, issues like noise from other campers and limited store supplies have been noted, highlighting areas for improvement.

I HATE Thousand Trails! Listings on line are NOT correct! That’s what absolutely stinks about doing everything on line!!! If that’s what is required, they need to be SURE site info is correct. Ours wasn’t, but camp employees made up for it. I’m very disappointed in the way Zilpo has been neglected!!! Camped there for over 40 years. They raise prices. Desperately need more electricity and water and full hookups. Absolutely love that area. Seems such a waste to not improve it, especially with all the demands for camp sites. As part of the National Forestry it should be much nicer than it is!

I love this place. I like the space between the sites giving us more privacy than most other campgrounds. I also like having a site on or near the lake.

Very secluded campground, excellent time. Tricky if driving a large RV to navigate

Zilpo is a great campground. Our only problem on this trip was the odor from the bath houses/ woodland septic systems. At times we had to leave our site because the smell was so bad
