What Guests Are Saying
Zilpo Campground is praised for its beautiful location, cleanliness, and friendly camp hosts, making it a favorite for many long-time visitors. While some amenities, such as hot water availability and maintenance support, have declined, most campers still enjoy the private, serene sites and the access to outdoor activities like hiking and fishing. However, issues like noise from other campers and limited store supplies have been noted, highlighting areas for improvement.

Amazing campsite to have adventurous outing at!! Only make sure ahead of time that lake is going to be open on the days you plan to visit, if interested in swimming. All in all our all time favorite spot for camping. :)

We love camping at zilpo. The only downside was storm damage that caused the beach to be closed during our stay. It opened the day we had to leave.

I had ordered a full hookup site to find we did not have water when we arrived. They couldn't move us to another site saying all booked, but we were the only ones in ABC camping area! If it wasn't for Alex allowing us to hook up to the water at the restrooms (again we were the only ones in the site, and would have moved it if anyone else showed up), we would have left on the first day. She was very sympathetic as the water trouble was to have been fixed prior to us showing up. Maintenance on the grounds was lacking, hasn't been mowed ever, causing a bad case of Ticks to appear. Be ware of Jennifer! She has no customer service and VERY RUDE!!! She was insistent we move our hose even though we were the only ones around for miles, and we had prior approval did not matter to this WOMAN. She should not be allowed to work with the public! It was a very quiet site. I guess we being the only ones in ABC area was the reason!! The grounds are not well maintained!!! The people working there for years need to find another job they are rude. Alex if your reading this Thank You for your great customer service, and I hope you can teach the old ones how to handle people!!!!
