What Guests Are Saying
Zilpo Campground is praised for its beautiful location, cleanliness, and friendly camp hosts, making it a favorite for many long-time visitors. While some amenities, such as hot water availability and maintenance support, have declined, most campers still enjoy the private, serene sites and the access to outdoor activities like hiking and fishing. However, issues like noise from other campers and limited store supplies have been noted, highlighting areas for improvement.

I like this camp ground. Between camp sites, there’s plenty space so you can keep your privacy. There’s trails back if our campsite, you can go through to the lake. My kids enjoyed exploring the trail.
Unfortunately some restrooms and bathrooms were not available because of cleaning. It was very clean when it’s open. The beach was close but you can take a boat if you have.

Had a great time with friends Memorial day weekend. The cabins are clean and cozy. I would recommend staying at Zilpo. I do wish there were more cabins that allowed dogs. To my knowledge there are only 3 or 4. These seem to get reserved fast! My dog loves it-so i can’t leave her at home!! The staff is friendly and very helpful.

We didnt even get to stay. They had accidentally double booked, and the other people booked before we did so we got kicked out and not even our money back. Pathetic. The workers were rude to us like we didnt pay, and just made us leave. We camp a lot so they could have have made good money from us, but we wont be back.

Beautiful campsite. Bathrooms were cleaned and well-maintained. Only complaint is that my email confirmation said that the Max number of campers at my double site was 12, and when I checked in there was a sign that said the Max was 10. Luckily this didn’t cause a problem for my group because some friends backed out last minute, but it easily could have been.
