Very disappointed in Baileys Point. We have been coming in for 20+ years and this is the worst it has been.
During the week it was fine but when Thursday came it got really bad. There were more than the allowed 6 people on multiple sites. There were cars parked everywhere, including the grass. There was no room for my trailer in the boat lot because it was full of cars. There were golf carts and cars driving around well into the night. Kids were playing in the showers spraying the hose into the stalls where people were. We didn't see the campground attendants drive around at all during the weekend and several times we drove through they were closed for the day and had shortened hours other days. What happened to the rules we agree to when we book our sites. We saw multiple snakes this time and even one in our site. I am not sure what is going on but something needs to be done.

Bath-houses are cleaned every day; no A/C but bearable in the mornings and evenings....hot in the middle of the day in August when outside temps are 95+ Hosts are always friendly. Nice large sites. My favorite place to camp!!!

I love camping on waterfront sites. I have an inflatable kayak and it was relatively easy to get it in the water.

Don’t always go by the pictures online. We reserved a spot in E Bc nothing was available online for B at time of booking. When we arrived (around 6pm Friday night) I asked if anything was open in B. The lady said no everything for full for the weekend besides two non electric spots. When we got to our spot in E it was down a one way road and on a hill. The door to the camper was on the opposite side of the camping area. (Grill, table, fireplace) I called the office and asked again if anything else was available and was told the same as above. My wife got online and their was five spots available in B. We paid for it and moved to B. The next day she went up to get the parking pass and told the lady that we had asked for another spot and all that was mentioned above and they refunded the Saturday night E spot but not for Friday. In the pictures E looked nice and flat. I would suggest looking for spots in person and saving the ones you like and try to reserve them.

We love baileys point! We have been coming here for years. The only dislikes are the swimmers winning in none swim areas and cars parking in the boat lot instead of the overflow lot.

It is Kentucky and plenty of hills here, I did see a lot of golf carts and bikes. Access to the water was excellent, you could call it a common area from what I could tell the campsites do not go all of the way to the water. I like to fish and walking the shoreline without intruding on someone's campsite was great.
