Quaint campground on the lake. Cove is busy but you can still swim on the coast.

I love the campground and the facility . If it had WiFi you could hook up to would have made it easier because I had to leave early as I needed to send some emails and could barley get signal . Also the man at the gate in that little station as you enter the facility was horrible I mean horrible. So angry and rude never a smile and not helpful at all . I would recommend this campground but tell everyone before they go that they have no WiFi connection and the little short chubby man at gate was horrible.

We had a great trip at site #11. Our daughter is handicap and the site is gravel but we were still able to move her in an out of the site with ease. There is an accessible bathroom and shower close by. Sites were clean, water was cool and fishing was great!

Really nice campground right on the lake. Gorgeous views after a short walk to the lake; sites on the shore are spectacular. No swimming beach access. Bathrooms were spotlessly clean. Sites are close together, but most have some privacy thanks to the tiered layout. However note that site 36 was very small and in the middle of two other sites, so there was no privacy. Enjoyable stay for one night!

From Somerset, Kentucky, take Highway 80 west for 5 miles. Turn right on East Highway 1248 and continue for 2 miles. The recreation area entrance will be on the left side of the road at the bottom of the hill.
