I'm a return camper to Waitsboro and I'm sure I'll be back again. Clean, well maintained campground with some beautiful views of Lake Cumberland.

Great time, Boat Launching Ramp a little rough due to debris but they are addressing it this week with equipment. Host are great and areas are clean. Bath houses are real clean, Mini split A/C or big ceiling fans would be nice in them to help cool a bit. Love Waitsboro Campground.

The facility's were clean. The boat ramp was nice and close. All volunteers were excellent people.
We really enjoyed our stay and will be back next season.

It was ok. The cell service and paved roads were great! We were in spot 7 so we were near the back set of restrooms. My son went to the boys room and I went to the ladies room. No stall doors and there were huge spiders in each bathroom! We did visit the restrooms closer to the front and they had showers. They were much nicer with stall doors and no big spiders. Very clean.
I was hoping for a nice spot to fish and swim, but there really wasn’t a good place.
There is a set of stairs down to the lake in the back of the campground, but there were so many logs and so much trash I wouldn’t let the kids swim there. This looks like a pretty big issues in that area or the lake. Nothing to do specifically with the campsite/ campground. I saw the host a few times. He was nice. The spot we were in had a great view.
Also there’s a Wendy’s and gas station just around the corner from the site. I think this would be a much better place for people with an RV, but tent camping was fun.
I wouldn’t rule out the idea of going again. Next time tho I’m bringing something to hookup to the water connection that the kids can play in. And me too. A sprinkler or something!
The trip was a success and we had a great time.
