This is a beautiful park to camp in, and the convenience of being in the DC suburbs cannot be overstated. Even though many trees were blown down in last years storm, they have done a great job of clearing the trails. And there are still a lot of huge trees around.

Nice location for visiting DC (particularly via Metro stop at Greenbelt).
Bathroom was fine, working (not particularly clean, but no sweat).
Reasonably quiet campground.
Price was right.

A fantastic base of operations for the DC area. The camp appears to have been cleaned up quite a bit since last there. Would love to see more rangers intermingling. The closure of the ranger station at 3:45 seems too early. Ticks remain an issue. Would love to see an additional bathroom/shower in the youth loop, but the shower was fine.
