What Guests Are Saying
Greenbelt Campground offers a great location close to Washington D.C., providing a peaceful, forested setting with well-maintained sites and convenient access to amenities. Many visitors appreciate the clean campsites, hot water in showers, and helpful staff, making it a good choice for camping near the city. However, some guests noted that the bathroom facilities could use improvements in cleanliness and maintenance. Overall, it’s recommended for its affordability and accessibility to both urban and natural attractions.

What a wonderful park. Close to the metro, shops and food.

Campsites were clean, but small. Restroom and showers were clean with hot water. Close to subway to the DC downtown. Visiting national monuments was convenient from subway station. Traffic and sirens at night was heard from campsite, but did quiet down through the night. Would visit again.

I visited the park to test my idea of the rejuvenating benefits of being out in nature. Staying at this park provided my idea to be true for me. The camp hosts were amazing. As a youth I got a lot from participating in summer camp. As an adult my travels have included staying in hotels.

Nice unexpected oasis inside the Capitol Beltway. Pull through on our site was tight for 32' and toad, large drop on right as you pull into site with no room to swing but not terrible (it was a dark and rainy afternoon). Primnitive site but just what we needed. We will come back and spend more time here.
