Many visitors appreciate the clean campsites, hot water in showers, and helpful staff, making it a good choice for camping near the city. However, some guests noted that the bathroom facilities could use improvements in cleanliness and maintenance. A wonderful nearly hidden haven for campers going through the DC area. On our last trip we learned that NASA Goddard is just down the road. We'll have to work in a visit next time we are going through, or staying for a while to hike the Greenbelt trails or make runouts to DC. One of our favorite parks!

The park is beautiful and rustic. The Rangers and volunteers and fantastic. The rates can not be beat anywhere and the classes at the fire ring are educational and well done. Best camping experience by far. Thank you.

I loved the campground. Easy drive to the metro station and a clean camp with 24 hr in and out. I also appreciated how quiet the camp was. It was beautiful
