Campsites are all set on a hill in a nice woodland with lots of tulip trees. There is a nice short trail to an old lumber mill. The bathrooms are old but clean. They had free firewood. Camp hosts were excellent. Quiet hours were enforced. It's close to Antietam and other Civil War sites. I would choose a site farther from the dumpster/firewood next time.

The campsite we were in was relatively tight while others had a little more space. So choose your sites wisely. Overall it is a typical family campground where it is fairly noisy until dark; but for the most part people were respectful after 9pm. A couple nice hiking trails near the campground

Camp was nice in under the tallest trees. We were only there for a quick overnite, and if the ladies shower area would have been better lite, it would've been 5 stars.

Great place to stay, no cell service (not an issue just something to plan for), my site felt very private and lots of beautiful hiking nearby

Lovely quiet campground. The sites are a little small but far enough apart that it would be ok even if more people were there. We didn't see anyone on a wednesday night. The hosts were very helpful and friendly and the restroom was very clean. I would definitely go there again.

We loved our camping trip even though it was hot. We brought fans so that helped and it cooled off at night. We also played some disc golf, which we love. As for suggestions, it would an even better experience id we could have rented a boat of some type. A canoe or a kayak would have made it even more fun!
