We were blown away by the extensive upgrades to the cabins and the pool. We have long lived camp misty mount for many reasons and now it’s even that much more of a gem.

This was our first time at this camp, and we loved it. The cabin was primitive, rustic and charming at the same time. The ceiling fan with light provided a nice air flow and light in addition to the screened windows. The cabin also had outlets inside to charge our phones, which was a nice surprise as we did not expect it. However, wi-fi and phone coverage (T-Mobile/Sprint) was poor to non existent but not a big deal for us. The single beds were not the most comfortable but good enough for a weekend getaway. The dishwashing station had potable cold water as well as hot water for washing dishes. The wood for fire was conveniently stored inside the dishwashing station but the donation box is located near the camp host. The showers and restrooms in the upper loop have been recently renovated and they were nice. The area is quiet, shaded and lovely. Overall, a very nice experience and we will definitely be back and chose the upper loop again.

First time primitive cabin camping, and we loved it! Enjoyed our picnic table, fire pit, and the beautiful setting. Cabin was very basic with 4 single prison beds. Comfortable enough to lay your head & get a good nights sleep.

My husband and I enjoyed a quiet rustic get away in Cabin #20. Being our first time camping there, we were very glad to have the help of Ranger Jeanie who took the time to talk to us about the history of the camp, the best places to eat in town, and in general, was awesome!

We stayed two nights in the middle loop and had a lovely time. The camp staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We could tell they take great pride in their work and go to much effort to provide a safe, and clean historic cabin camp experience. We really appreciated that there are no vehicles parked in the cabin area. We noticed that the bath houses are cleaned several times a day. The wood shed is stocked with dry firewood. The pathways are well groomed. Thank you so much! We will return soon.
