Antietam Creek Campsite offers a clean and well-maintained environment with friendly hosts and stunning views of the Potomac River. Campsites are spacious and equipped with amenities like fire pits and picnic tables, making it a great spot for outdoor activities, including biking and hiking on the nearby trails. Nice location on the river and the tow path. No showers so some kind of access to the river would have been nice to be able to cool off in the hot weather. Glad to have purified water available but the iodine purification made it very unpalatable.

Upon arrival campsite was clean and quiet. Right before sunset vans full of people from a local river guide service were dropped off next to our site. They allowed their dog to run off leash & it kept fighting with the neighbors dog and barking ALL night. Host was notified, but it just kept happening. We got zero sleep. I love dogs but this was completely out of hand.
