Beautiful campground with plenty of spacious and secluded sites. It was well worth the 6 hour drive from Chicago to camp here. A lot of hiking options around the campground as well! I can’t wait to come back.

Platte River is one of our favorite campgrounds. It is quiet and spacious. The trail to Lake Michigan is beautiful and you can't beat canoeing on the river. The bathrooms and showers are clean and new. This park is very well maintained.

Beautiful campground. Top notch amenities. Hard working staff. Only ding I can think of is that it is not real convenient to the lake michigan beach.

The campground is very nice. Level parking pads. My frustration is moving every day when the site I moved from had no one on that site. I think there should be a bigger penalty for no show campers. I always look on line to see if sites open up at the last minute. Many sites dont show availability but no one shows up
