Our stay was definitely enjoyable. It was quiet and beautiful. No raccoons this year, which made sleeping much easier !

However, the toilets were not as well kept up as they were the previous year and the smell was quite noticeable at our site. (We stayed in the same proximity the previous year)

If needing wood for your stay, I recommend driving 5 minutes to the Forest Glen for their wood offerings. Much better wood for a cheaper price.

All in all it was a wonderful stay. However I’m not enthused with the “rule” of one tent per site. We do not think the children should be sleeping with the adults. So for one campsite that allows up to 8 people, 2-3 tents should be acceptable.

Love this campsite. The distance to other campers is great and offers a sense of seclusion. The lake is beautiful in the morning and had a nice sandy swim area. Plus it's proximity to Pictured Rocks makes it ideal for day trips.

Quiet and private mostly. They might consider limiting the time for generator use. I wanted to escape lawnmower sounds.
