We had a group of 43 campers and Pete's lake campground couldn't have been any better. The hosts were great, very clean vault toilets, and the sites were big enough to handle our group when we gathered for meals and campfires.

Very nice clean campground! Nice large campsites and you can barely see your neighbors. Only drawback was the camp host runs a very loud generator sometimes.

We had a good week but there were a couple issues. One was the dock where a board has been unscrewed and warped for several years. It is definitely not handicap accessible like it is. The other problem was no water from the faucet for the last day & a half of our stay. We have no holding tanks and rely on pumps or faucets at campgrounds...& pay for that service. Luckily our daughter had extra water in her camper to share with us. There was no communication as to why there was no water & no signs posted.

This was a beautiful campground and lake! A few tips: don’t rely on your phone for accurate directions to the campground, there is no water with the exception of foot washing stations, and there is no firewood available on site. So be prepared and you will have a wonderful time!
