Few campers is June. I was attracted by the adjacent National Scenic River with reported brook trout. Most sites near river have trails to river. Other campers have acres via trail too. Nice picnic and canoe launch area. The river is slow moving and shallow connecting small lakes.

Quiet, pretty site near the river. One star off because the swimming isn't great. Unfortunately the water was out and we had to drive to another campground to refill all week.

Great scenery and next to a launch point for kayaking and only 18 minds away from Munising or to start of pictured rocks

Very nice! Large, spread out sites with lots of mature trees. Extremely quiet. We were on site 17, toward the end of the loop. There was a trail at the back of our site that led through the trees to our own little spot on the Indian River. Some sites were nearer the river, but we really liked the size & the privacy of site 17. We enjoyed hiking the Bruno’s Run trail from the campground. We also hiked in the pictured Rocks (gorgeous!) and visited several beaches & lighthouses in the area. Good location for travel to Grand Marais, Munising & Marquette. & last, but definitely not least, the bathrooms were amazingly clean & not stinky.

I love this campground. However, this year somehow the solar pump is not working and there is NO WATER available for campers. There is one camp host for FOUR campgrounds, she is by herself, and the work seems to be overwhelming! I do not fault her at all. Not having water, not making sure the pump is replaced somehow seems neglectful. I am so disappointed.

Good campground. Will lake near by the swim, water was pretty warm. Toilets were clean and they have drinking water station. Mosquitoes aren't that bad at all. Fire pit and table at the lot plus lots are pretty big and private. So far good experience. 22$ for a night...lots of FF lots so we found spot for one night on Fri where all other campground were full we drove by 3 other around this are.

Good campsite close to Munising and other points of interest. Water spout was not working during our trip but overall satisfactory experience.

We enjoyed out time here. Sites were spread out enough that we had privacy. Sites were clean and clear of debris.
