Great campground, clean toilets. Host on site and reserved markers easily marked off sites so people coming in could see what was open and what was reserved. We had quiet neighbors while there, really the whole park was quiet for the most part. Only heard generators briefly so that was nice.
Pleasantly surprised to find a quick trail to the water that we were able to carry our kayaks to and leave on shore during our visit. Definitely a bit of a carry but flat and easy.

We wanted to do tubing, couldn’t because the swimming area was really small and too many boats around to do it. Latrine really smelled.

It was great, very quite it and peaceful. The sights are great but 106 the fire ring is on the left side an in a low spot so rain gets around it.

Relaxing as always. So peaceful being tucked back in the forest, looking over the lake, listening to the sounds of nature.

nice area, Lumberman's Monument, Close to Tawas for food.
