This campground is always great to stay at. I bring a group of guys up every year to fish for a week and the group site is plenty big enough for us. The campground is quiet and clean. The only issue this year was the shape of the bathrooms. One was completely closed off and the other closest to our site had not been maintained until we spoke to the camp host. This was the first year we've seen any issues. We'll be back next year with our same group. Hopefully the weather will influence the fishing to be better next year. 😀

The campgrounds and surrounding environs are very well-managed and peaceful to be in. The bathrooms are very well maintained and clean. Sunrises and sunsets filtering through the trees are absolutely magical.

Beautiful campground on the bluffs over the Au Sable. Short walk to Lumberman's Monument. Clean and stocked restrooms, well maintained campsites. Highbanks trail nest to the campground provides great hiking . I loved to go out at night to the observation deck over the river to watch the stars and meteorites. One of our favorites.

We have camped here several times, typically coming up to Monument every other year. We always have a wonderful time, the bathrooms are always clean, the campsites are always clean, it's quiet and peaceful. The Campground Host was a gem of a gentleman, so kind and courteous.

This was a beautiful spot to visit Lumberman’s Monument from and hike local trails. I’ve never been to a rustic campground with such clean outhouses! Just wish people in rustic campgrounds didn’t run generators.
