Absolutely loved being back at Brevort lake this year. New hosts were very friendly and kept the bathrooms and grounds very clean. Perch fishing was great this year, and had Perch dinners every other day. We will be back next year for 2 weeks.

By the web site I was led to believe that there was going to be kayak rental available, that was not the case. The camp host was taken back that I was even led to believe that. That's fine. The fishing pier was not accessible due to neglect. With those two let downs our kids were needless to say disappointed with the experience. The natural barrier between campsites left a lot to be desired. Trash dumpsters were a long walk for tent campers.

Since 2015 this campground has been meticulously kept and cared for by the same purveyor.
For reasons not fully understood the campground was closed summer of 2023.
It is now open but in much need of care taking, cleaning, raking, mowing, restroom maintenance, firewood, ice, boat launch repairs and clean up.
Neglected in ways most campers have not experienced before.
Beautiful location, just needs "work".
