What Guests Are Saying
Soldier Lake offers a well-managed campground with spacious, private sites and clean facilities, making it a great choice for outdoor activities like biking and hiking. Guests appreciate the lake's swimming opportunities and the campground's peaceful atmosphere, although some report occasional noise from generators and road traffic. Recent concerns include issues with reservations and cleanliness, but overall, many recommend it as a solid drive-up campsite for exploring the surrounding wilderness.

The campground was well kept and very peaceful. Some neighbors ran a generator most of the day to charge batteries to run a trolling motor on their boat. Apparently no one notified them that the lake is a “no propeller” lake.

Soldier Lake has really gone downhill since it has changed vendors. No firewood onsite. Sites are not mowed or raked. Toilets are disgusting. Noise is not enforced whatsoever. If this is what privatized management of public lands gets us, we're getting ripped off.
