The campsite was very nice. Sites were flat with just right amount of trees for privacy. They were easy to access with trailer.
Pit toilets were well maintained, clean
We enjoyed our stay

This was a Sept 14-21 camping trip with Soldier Lake as a destination not a base camp. We enjoyed the beginnings of fall color, hiking, bicycling and even a swim or two when the temperature went above 70° (water was 65°).
Overall very peaceful. The only problem was a group of party-campers that acted up on Saturday evening with screaming and some VERY loud rap music. It didn't last long; we think the host campers put a damper on it.
