Very cool camo ground. We had a lake side spot which was nice to be close to the water . Bathrooms were very clean . Only complaint was the loud train constantly coming by and the fighter jets were out too so that was loud as well .

While the campground itself was beautiful we were slightly dissapointed as our walkway to the lake from our site was long grass and very muddy so was inaccessible but could have been from the amount of rain we recently got overall beautiful site with no cell phone reception 😀

Simple, Quiet and Peaceful. What more could you want? Lake and waters are high due to flooding this year but the mosquitoes weren't horrible. Bathrooms were clean and sites well tended. We love this gem of the Superior NF and will be back!

Campground was pretty unkempt. The grasses in the picnic area at the beach were hip high. Campers were weed whipping their own campsites to have space to camp. There was no camp host so we couldn’t buy firewood. There was calf high water between our site and the lake that was breeding mosquitos like crazy. Went home a day early because the bugs were so bad.

The campground host was amazing and went above and beyond to fix a hiccup I encountered upon my arrival.

Super cute remote little camp site. We visited during a week day (Thursday in June). We especially loved the access to the lake, also the vault toilets were spotless. I would definitely recommend bug spray to anyone visiting, the mosquitos and flies were abundant.

Looking for a quiet place to get away and unplug? This is the place for you. Very well kept, clean campground. Camp hosts were helpful and kind. Lake was clean and we even caught a couple walleyes.
