What Guests Are Saying
Whiteface Reservoir is a beautiful and well-maintained campground with friendly, dedicated staff, particularly Teri, who ensures a welcoming atmosphere for campers. Visitors appreciate the clean facilities, great fishing, and peaceful surroundings, making it a favored spot for families. However, some have noted the lack of a dump station and occasional issues with camp hosts, which could be improved for a more seamless experience.

Highly recommend this campground. The sites are spaciously spread out, so you aren't right on top of your neighbor. The sand was raked at our campsite when we showed up Nice work campground staff! Went swimming at the beach which was just a short walk from the campsite. The sand was nice and the beach was barricaded so boaters wouldn't come close. Nice picnic areas and a small playground. Did not launch a boat but the boat launch looked nice to use as well. Bathrooms were cleaned every day. Could not have a fire because of the current draught but had enough room on the campsite for a mid-size camper, two tents, and a screen net at night to get away from the bugs. Brought the two dogs as well and they had a great time.
Would stay here again!

Wonderfull place! We fished, camping was secluded in the beautiful forest! We didn’t swim but very nice beach for swimming! Campsites have lake view which we really liked! Will definitely come back next year! Easy access boat launch all within 2 minutes of each other!

This campground was unbelievably perfect. The beach was great and the sites are all very spacious. Each site is basically private and you are not on top of your neighbors. If you have Verizon service you will not have any while staying!! Was a great chance to just unplug and enjoy enjoy everything around you.

The other family with the 20' hard wall trailer had an outside gas generator that ran from morning 'till 7 pm. Couldn't hear any nature. Got the spot along the lake but there were too many boaters and gas sheen on the shoreline so can't swim. Park rules says that there should only be one vehicle per site but the same group of campers had two full size pickups crammed into one slot. Upside, park employees did a great job of cleaning the bathrooms.

The campsites were very clean as well as the toilets.
The campground hosts all were great to deal with. They did their jobs very well while being friendly.
