Our site was clean when we arrived. The fishing was good. The campground is nice and quiet. Bathrooms are the cleanest of any I have visited. The Manager is the "Best"!

The group camp at Whiteface was fantastic. We loved the private water access. The park staff were also very helpful. Our family had a great time.

Whiteface Reservoir Campground is truly a gem. You can sense the pride that staff has in caring for both the grounds and the campers through their consistent attention to detail and the caring way they accommodate everyone’s needs to make each person’s experience the best it can be. Teri, campground manager, is very dedicated to making sure everyone who passes through enjoys top notch accommodations including well maintained campsites, consistently clean restrooms, rules and safety measures are enforced and all personal needs met in a caring and timely manor. I've had nothing but a great experience every time. The campground is clean and quiet. Campground manager is always there when you need them. This is despite the staffing shortages most employers are facing these days. We will be back again.

From Eveleth, Minnesota, take Highway 53 south for 7.8 miles, turn east on County Road 16 and travel 18.5 miles. Turn south on County Road 618 and travel 2.5 miles to Whiteface Reservoir.

Policies & Rules
Arrival & departure
- Reserved sites are held until noon the day after arrival; occupancy is required by the second day to keep the reservation.
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
Site types & loops
- Some campsites can be reserved for long-term stays for the entire season.
- Accessible campsites can be reserved by anyone, not just those with disabilities.
Pets
- Each site allows up to two pets.
Vehicles & parking
- Each site allows one RV with a tow vehicle or one vehicle per tent site, with a possibility for one extra vehicle for a fee.
Cancellation policy
- Once your stay begins, reservation modifications are not allowed.
- Refund requests incur a $10 processing fee, and non-refundable fees will not be returned.
Fires & fuel
- Firewood from outside the area is not allowed to prevent the spread of pests.
