Fall Lake was exceeded our expectations of a federal campground. 4 attributes stuck out:
1. The bathrooms were extra clean
2. The firepit was spotless
3. The beach was quaint and fun and full of families
4. The host baked blueberry cake and chocolate brownie bombs for everybody. She even stopped by our site with the recipe.
We almost don't want to go back because it was so perfect the first time.

Quiet and private sites, rented canoes from campground office, paddle to the falls and swim for a half day trip. Big wooded mostly electric sites, very peaceful. Water fill at office, dump station in Ely 5 miles away at visitor center.

Loved the seclusion and privacy of all the campsites. Very clean bathrooms, and well maintained campground. Rowing and fishing on the lake was amazing in late July.

The last two years our Boy Scout Troop has stayed at the Fall Lake Campground the night before going on a week long trek into the BWCA. Both years we have had a great experience. The campground is clean and the staff is very friendly. The campground is close to multiple entry points into the boundary waters making it an easy choice for our group.

Great campground to be at. The beach was a lot of fun to utilize. Also, close but far enough from Ely.
