Great campground in a great location! Facilities are wonderful and well cared for by very friendly staffers. Sites are spacious and well spaced. Nice little swim beach and a beautiful spot on the west end of the campground to watch the spectacular sunsets. Can't wait to return.

The last two years our Boy Scout Troop has stayed at the Fall Lake Campground the night before going on a week long trek into the BWCA. Both years we have had a great experience. The campground is clean and the staff is very friendly. The campground is close to multiple entry points into the boundary waters making it an easy choice for our group.

Amazing facility! We had an issue with a reservation for the BWCA and Ranger Sam helped us without skipping a beat. Got us right on track, had all the proper knowledge and experience you would expect, and all with a super friendly tone! I can't tell you how much of an impact you made on our trip- we would have been up a creek without a paddle without his help. These guys have every bit of info, plus you can purchase maps and they have a cute little gift shop. I'd stop just to check out what the great Rangers have to say! Thanks again, Sam!

Fall Lake is located in Northeast MN, 100 miles North of Duluth MN. From Duluth, MN, take Highway 53 north for 50 miles to Virginia, MN. Take Highway 169 northeast for 50 miles to Ely, Minnesota, travel an addition 6.5 miles to County Road 182 (Fall Lake Road). Travel north on County Road 182 for 2 miles.

- Visitors to the northern portion of Fall Lake must have a valid BWCAW permit.

- Each site allows one RV with a tow vehicle or one vehicle per tent site, with an option for one extra vehicle at an additional cost.
