It was the most magical. Clean sites, quiet. Beautiful beaches. Walkable to beach or just exploring the area. Will be back.

This is one of the best Forest Service campgrounds that I've ever been in.

Volunteer hosts are so nice and helpful. Campground and bathrooms are always clean and picked up. Now if we could get rid of the sand flies we’d be in good shape!!

We camped here because of the location, as mid-way through our stay we took a canoe trip in the Upper Boundaries waters. One surprise: we learned they don't want the trailer left at campsites unoccupied and it would have been fine to just park it in their parking lot, which is a fairly spacious lot near a boat ramp. It would have been great to know that in advance, as it would have saved us some money. The campsites are level and extremely private due to the heavy vegetation, and in general the campground is well maintained. The main complaint we had is that campsites are electric only, which normally would have been okay until we learned they don't even have a dump station. In over 2 years of full-timing, that's the first time we've ever encountered a state or national campground without a dump station.

This campground is absolutely wonderful. Many repeat campers because it is so wonderful. The Vista crew is awesome in maintaining the campground. We look forward to our return.

The campgrounds were well staffed with camp hosts, clean, quiet, spacious campsites and nice bathroom/shower facilities. A very nice campground on a beautiful lake right on the edge of the boundary water canoe area, close to the cool little town of Ely... Lots to do and see! I Highly recommend check'n this little gem out!

Got day passes for the BWCA and just canoed around the island. Had great weather and so peaceful out in the water with no one around. Camp sites are spaced so you don’t see your neighbors. Would definitely go again.
